For example, one text describes how Venerable Symeon of Athos, seeking guidance from his spiritual father, looked for the first word after prayer—a sign from the Lord indicating the correct path to salvation. This narrative emphasizes that in moments of doubt and spiritual struggle, when the salvation of the soul is at stake, divine wisdom becomes indispensable:"Turning to his spiritual father, Venerable Symeon of Athos prayed that the Lord, through His servant, would have mercy on him, reveal His will and the path to salvation, and, knowing that the first thought that arises in the soul after prayer is a sign from above [...]" (source: link txt).Furthermore, divine wisdom plays a crucial role in important life decisions rooted in mysteries both secret and predestined by God, when human logic proves insufficient to grasp deep truths.
