The Unbounded Embrace of Divine Love

People begin to recognize and embrace the idea of God's love when they see in Him an unconditional Father and a selfless Lover who does not judge harshly, but rather strives for their improvement and spiritual growth. For example, many perceive God's love through images comparable to a father's love for his children or a groom's love for his bride—a comparison clearly demonstrated by the sacrifice of Christ, made for the salvation of humanity. It is this very sacrifice and compassion that help people understand that, even in their imperfection, God continues to love them and desires their transformation.

Another important factor is the experience of life's trials. Through pain, suffering, and the overcoming of personal weaknesses, a person begins to realize that God allows these challenges to remove obstacles on the path to spiritual awakening and closeness with Him. This experience makes it feel that God's love spares no one, regardless of moral mistakes or doubts, for His love is so infinite that it also embraces those who exist outside conventional norms.

Furthermore, people notice that good deeds and benevolent acts occur in their lives when there is a sense of support and grace—evidence of God's sincere love. This is shown by the fact that, despite human shortcomings and even wrongdoing, God consistently seeks to guide a person back onto the path of correction, demonstrating His patience and mercy.

"Secondly, God loves us as a father loves his children. Christ—The Son of God—became man and thereby adopted us into the Heavenly Father. It happens that, among people, children are not always exemplary, yet a kind father, regardless, always loves, pities, and wishes for his children to improve. Thirdly, God loves us as a groom loves his bride. The Bible says that a person's soul is the bride of God. The mystery of the Future Age is described in Scripture as the marriage of the Lamb. For even among people, an enamored groom might be prepared to die for his bride. The Lord acts similarly: for the salvation of a person, He accepts the death of the Cross.

So, if God's love embodies such qualities and reaches such great power, fullness, and perfection, should we be surprised that the Lord patiently awaits the correction of all people and does not seek to forcibly eradicate evil?
For if He intended to save only the good and destroy the wicked, it would be all too simple. But the truth is, God wishes to save not only the good but also the evil, not only the righteous but also the thieves, criminals, atheists, and iconoclasts." (source: link txt)

"God's love is also moral love: God loves everyone, but He tells us that He loves those who love Him—a truth expressed repeatedly in the Holy Scriptures. The Lord loves all people, but He especially loves those who seek Him: 'The one who loves Me—I love him,' says the Lord, 'and those who seek Me will find grace' (Prov. 8:17)." (source: link txt)

"No one can comprehend how God loves a person! His love is incomparable to anything! It has no limits! It is so immense that if a person feels even a small part of it, their heart cannot withstand it—melting away, as it were, because it is made of clay." (source: link txt)
