Divine Overflow: Creation as an Expression of Love and Freedom
Although the Almighty possesses absolute perfection and is completely free from need, His desire to create can be interpreted as an expression of boundless love and free will. God did not create the world out of necessity or because of any deficiency within Himself, but through a spirit of love and benevolence emanating from His very essence. Creation is not seen as a compensatory act, but as a free outpouring of His perfection—a gracious and joyful willingness to share goodness with all creatures. In other words, the drive to create is not motivated by the need to satisfy any lack; it is an expression of God's Self, who, being content with His Perfection, chose by His free volition to bring forth myriad forms of existence to manifest the essence of His love.
