The Journey to True Salvation

Knowledge of the one true God and His Leader of Salvation means a deep realization that there is one Almighty, Creator, and Sustainer of everything visible and invisible, as well as an acknowledgment that salvation is possible through knowing and having faith in His messenger—the Savior of the world, the Son of God. This is not merely an intellectual understanding but a comprehensive, spiritual conviction that permeates every aspect of a person's life.

In one of the texts it is stated:
"I have known You, the one, the true, the eternal God, Father and Son and Holy Spirit, three Persons, yet one essence, a completely simple and indivisible nature; the unbegotten Father, the Son begotten of the Father, and the Holy Spirit proceeding from the Father, unbegotten, ever eternal and infinitely the Tri-unified God, the one, the only, the true Almighty God..." It is precisely through this knowledge that a person realizes that all the gifts of life, strength, means for continuing existence and blessings, as well as salvation, come from God. As explained in another passage:
"The Savior says: This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and the one sent by You, Jesus Christ (John 17:3). But by means of mere reasoning and experience, without the help of God's revelation, one cannot acquire true knowledge about God and heavenly matters..." (source: link txt)

As for the Leader of salvation, it is understood to be the Messiah—the Son of God, the Only Begotten—through whom genuine salvation is secured. For example, one source emphasizes:
"The only Messiah, the Savior of the world—the Son of God, the Only Begotten, who was begotten of the Father before all ages. This is His heavenly seal and the guarantee of the truth of His messiahship." (source: link txt)

If a person does not know the true God and His Leader of salvation, several sequential steps must be undertaken to acquire this knowledge. First and foremost, one must seek revelation in order to receive the correct and confirmed doctrine. This involves studying and accepting the true teaching preserved in the Church as the bearer of sacred truth, which provides the opportunity to form a correct understanding of God, of good and evil, and consequently, of salvation. This is explained as follows:
"Falsehood is the source and cause of eternal death; in contrast, truth is the source and cause of salvation, by the definition of the Lord Himself. Holy truth is safeguarded within the holy Church. By belonging to and obeying it, one can form the correct mindset about God, about man, about good, about evil, and therefore, about salvation." (source: link txt)

Thus, to attain true knowledge, one must accept the teaching of God, study the revelations, and follow the guidance provided through sacred texts and the Church, and, by receiving the grace of the Savior, embark on the path of rebirth and sanctification.
