Incarnation: The Divine Bridge of Love and Redemption

Christ became incarnate in the body of Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary, as an integral part of the Divine plan that envisioned restoring the lost unity between God and humanity. The incarnation means that the Eternal God became a complete man, entering into a unique, deeply personal, and loving relationship with mankind through the bond between mother and child, underscoring the truth and fullness of human experience in His life. Thus, this act not only confirms that Jesus is the Son of God but also makes Him a mediator, through whom man is given the path to communion with God, spiritual renewal, and salvation.

As noted in one of the sources:
"Birth itself establishes a special spiritual bond between mother and child. This bond is unique and unparalleled: its foundation is attachment and love.

Can we, by saying that our Lord was 'born of the Virgin Mary', forget about this love?
... Otherwise, the Incarnation would have been a lie." (source: link txt)

On the other hand, the Divine plan of incarnation was predetermined as the primary and unchangeable design of Creation – God became incarnate, despite everything, to bring about the redemption of mankind:
"Christ's Incarnation was not conceived by chance; God's foresight originally had it as its direct purpose. ... All the evidence, he believed, supported the idea that 'the Lord would become incarnate despite everything' ..." (source: link txt)

Moreover, the meaning of the incarnation is expressed in the establishment of complete communion between God and man:
"The purpose of the Incarnation is to establish full communion between God and man so that man may obtain sonship and immortality in Christ." (source: link txt)

Finally, the incarnation confirms the call for Salvation, for by taking on human flesh, Christ became the Savior who, through His sacrifice, saves mankind from sin and reunites it with God:
"... he is called the Savior because by His sacrifice He saved man from sin and reunited him with God." (source: link txt)

Thus, Christ's incarnation holds profound significance in the divine plan: it reveals Divine love through human life, provides the opportunity to establish a new, eternal bond between the Creator and creation, and forms the foundation for redemption, granting salvation to all humanity.
