Beyond Triumph: The Quest for Spiritual Transformation

Victory loses its profound value if it is not followed by peace, because without a peaceful transformation all the sacrifices made in war remain unfulfilled and do not reach their highest manifestation. The sacrifices offered on the battlefield are meant to create a new, harmonious, and spiritually rejuvenated society. However, if victory is accompanied only by continued conflicts or a return to the old, materially oriented methods of governance, it essentially becomes nothing more than an illusion of success with a dangerous character, threatening the country's further development.

For example, one source states:
"Many of our religions and religious worldviews are founded on the idea of redemption and forgiveness of sins. … However, such self-sacrifice, if it does not lead to a qualitative improvement in the life of society after the war, may lose its meaningful and valuable significance for subsequent generations." (source: additional-excerpt.txt)

It is also important to note that true victory justifies sacrifices if it is capable of embodying enduring spiritual values rather than merely serving material interests, which over time lose their importance. As emphasized in another quote:
"In war, a person sacrifices their life for the state, and this sacrifice is justified when it is made for some enduring spiritual value that transcends the individual. But to demand that a person sacrifices their life for material well-being and comfort...–is insane and unfair…" (source: link txt)

Finally, victory without subsequent peaceful transformation may harbor danger for the victor, because the combat logic that brought success on the battlefield can transform into a self-destructive mechanism, threatening the integrity of society:
"Suppose that a global crisis… under these conditions, even victory contains elements of mortal danger—for the victor. For it is in it that the 'logic of war' is reflected, which sooner or later must manifest itself as the decomposing element." (source: link txt)

Thus, the true value of victory is revealed only when it serves as a solid foundation for creating a just, spiritually enriched, and peaceful society capable of ensuring stability and prosperity for future generations.
